We can be found in rolling countryside surrounded by vinyards, orchards and mountains, with the magnificent Belasitsa, Ograzhden and Slavyanka ranges nearby. The foothills of the Pirin mountain range — a protected area of outstanding natural beauty lie to the north.

Our small campsite and guest house is ideally situated to take advantage of the many tourist attractions in this area, being 5km from the main Sofia to Greece Highway (E79), and around 15 minutes from the Greek border at Kulata. We are about 2 hours from Thessaloniki or Sofia, and 1.5 hours to Bansko's ski resorts.

We offer a transit stop or base for exploration, at the edge of Kromidovo village in the homelands of Spartacus.

The Area - SouthWest Bulgaria

The region enjoys a unique and pleasant climate with the most sunny days and least rain in Bulgaria. Kromidovo itself is small and peaceful, with shops for basic provisions which also works as a bar. We are 7km from Rupite's hot springs and Baba Vanga memorial, and 11km from Melnik, with its famous wines, history and architecture. .

The pleasant spa town, and health and therapy resort, Sandanski, is 16km away. Bustling Petrich (Bulgaria's southernmost town), is to be found on the lower slopes of Belasitsa mountain, 20km away. The area offers many opportunities for healthy and natural pursuits, including walking, trekking, cycling, mountainbiking, rafting, canoeing, fishing and birdwatching. Many hiking routes and trails can be found nearby

Surrounded by majestic mountains, the area is renowned for its mineral waters, fresh air, and the quality of the wines produced, - vineyard tours & tastings are available. There are also many cultural and heritage sites to visit.
